One of Ms. Hertz's primary interests is the intersection of domestic politics, foreign policy and global problem solving.

She is currently working with the Center for American Progress. Previously, as Global Governance Fellow at the World Economic Forum, she designed and facilitated stakeholder involvement in Davos and managed a Forum-World Bank sponsored dialogue on Public Private Partnerships to address Climate Change.

As Director of WorldWIDE, a network of environmental leaders, she developed and promoted environment and gender friendly projects with civil society and governments, including pioneering the first US supported, equity investment facility for sustainable development implemented by NGOs.
