Chakravartti, Suddha
Mr. Suddha Chakravartti is Assistant Professor and Research Coordinator of the Globecraft Institute at the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations. His areas of special interest in consulting, research and teaching broadly include resource security issues, trade and development, global governance and poverty reduction.
Education
An Indian citizen, he holds a B.A., LL.B (Hons) degree from the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), University of Law, and a Master of International Relations (MIR) from the Geneva School of Diplomacy. He is currently completing his degree of Doctor of International Relations (DIR) at the Geneva School of Diplomacy specialising in energy poverty in India.
Professional Experience
He has more than three years of work experience, combining strategic research and consulting on wide aspects of international development with academia. He has previously worked as a researcher for Commonwealth Secretariat project in Geneva and at CUTS, Geneva Resource Centre, focusing on international trade and development issues. He has also contributed to the work of the Global Institute for Water, Environment and Health (GIWEH) and the Africa Progress Panel. At the Globecraft Institute, he currently undertakes research on wide aspects of international development and resource security issues.
